Our Project Scope

The MEM Workshop Expansion project involved the delivery of a comprehensive civil works package to support the expansion of critical workshop infrastructure. Juukan Garli was responsible for all site establishment and enabling works, including traffic management, earthworks, dust suppression, temporary access road construction and maintenance, and the supply and installation of temporary site facilities such as crib huts, ablutions, power, potable water, and fuel logistics. The scope included bulk earthworks for new pads, pavements, and sealed roads, construction of above-ground pipeline embankments and temporary ramps over existing services, and the removal and replacement of existing culverts. Stormwater infrastructure works were completed to integrate with the existing network, including culvert installation, extensions, inlet structures, rock protection, and remediation of existing drainage assets.

Juukan Garli also managed borrow material sourcing, testing, blending, pit establishment and rehabilitation, survey set-out and as-constructed works, quality assurance testing, and environmental controls throughout the project. The works were delivered safely and efficiently within an active operational environment, ensuring minimal disruption while meeting all technical, quality, and environmental requirements of the MEM Workshop Expansion.
