The Garli Morley Drive & Constance Street Intersection Improvements Project involved the delivery of targeted upgrade works along Morley Drive (H028) between Constance Street (0481) and Hillsborough Drive (0131), aimed at improving traffic flow, safety, and pedestrian accessibility within this busy metropolitan corridor.

Garli delivered comprehensive stormwater drainage works, including the installation of new pit and pipe infrastructure and the modification of existing drainage pits to suit the upgraded pavement and intersection geometry. These works were critical to improving surface water management and protecting long-term pavement performance.

The scope also included pavement construction and thick lift asphalt surfacing, delivering a durable and high-performing road surface capable of accommodating increased traffic volumes. Kerbing and brick paving works were undertaken to define road edges, enhance pedestrian areas, and improve the overall streetscape.

Pedestrian safety was a key focus of the project, with the construction of new pedestrian crossings, supported by the installation of signage and pavement markings to clearly define traffic movements and pedestrian priority areas.

To ensure safe delivery within a live traffic environment, Garli prepared and implemented a detailed Traffic Management Plan, supported by dilapidation surveys to manage asset protection and stakeholder risk.
